Phil Foden trained with England of the eve of their final Group B match against Wales on Tuesday.

The midfielder didn't feature in Friday's stalemate against USA, a decision which drew criticism aimed at manager Gareth Southgate.

Southgate defended the move, however the Manchester City playmaker could start against rivals Wales.

Southgate is also expected to recall defensive midfielder Jordan Henderson to the starting XI, in a match which opponents Wales must win to stand any chance of qualifying for the last 16.

England's are in the strongest position in Group B, the Three Lions only need to avoid a four-goal defeat to qualify.

A win guarantees top spot, while a draw and even a loss could see Southgate's side finish as group winners depending on the result in the Iran v USA game.
