Alaska Coast Guard locates missing 73-year-old hunter

A missing hunter was located and rescued near Klawock, Alaska, on Saturday, November 26, the US Coast Guard said. Footage from US Coast Guard District 17 shows the location and rescue of the 73-year-old. Local media said the man was reported missing at 9 am on Saturday. The Coast Guard received a request for assistance from Alaska State Troopers at around 6:30 pm on Saturday, the report added. A Sitka MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew arrived on scene at around 8:37 pm and was able to locate and rescue the man. The man’s condition was not reported.
