The construction of the cathedral began in 1386, and the final details were completed in 1965. Right next to the Duomo we visit the famous high end shopping arcade "Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II". From there we pass the Milan Scala opera house (Teatro alla Scala) on our way around the fashion district and a bit our through Arches of Ancient Porta Nuova (Archi di Porta Nuova).
