Cooking Mama is suing for infringement rights.
Back in 2019, Planet Entertainment was given the job of developing Cooking Mama cook star.

However, due to creative differences, office creative, the owners of the cooking mama IP, attempted to pull and stop the development of Cooking Mama Cookstar very shortly before its release in 2020.

Planet Entertainment ignored Office Creative and released Cooking Mama anyway, and they even released the Nintendo exclusive, to PlayStation as well!

Now Office is suing Planet for using cooking mama without permission and therefore breaching intellectual property.
