Negativity Bias

Hear me all the way out, of course when bad things happen it's important to call them out and inform others. Nothing against people that try to keep others safe.

But do we need to make these things headline news for weeks on end?

Maybe we should be very intentional about hyping up GOOD people that are doing GOOD things. It takes practice, but we can rewire our brains to value positive things over the negative ones. With so much of our lives taking place on social media, biases like Negativity Bias may be doing us extra harm.
