Articles of Style (formerly The Style Blogger) was launched in 2009 and quickly became the most popular menswear blog in the world, with millions of readers in more than 150 countries. Since then AOS has been featured in GQ, Esquire, Men’s Health, Playboy, Complex, Sports Illustrated, The New York Times, The BBC, The Today Show, and many others.

Founded by “America’s Best Dressed Man” Dan Trepanier, the original goal of the site was simple; to make fashion easier and more relatable for “real guys”. Dan spent several years researching, buying, wearing and reviewing menswear made by just about every brand in the business, from high-end bespoke to cheap “fast fashion“. It was an unending quest to find the perfect brand; one that combines quality craftsmanship, ethical manufacturing, timeless design, expert fittings for any body type, and personal wardrobe planning that could help his audience of “real guys” dress with style and confidence – with minimal effort and lasting results.

Frustrated with the the market, and encouraged by his loyal supporters, Dan went back to school to study menswear design, spent 3 years apprenticing with a bespoke tailor in NYC, and put together an all-star team to turn his acclaimed blog into a full-service menswear destination that combines quality products with quality service and provides real-life inspiration that goes beyond cloth and touches on the lifestyle of the modern gentleman.

In October of 2015 AOS launched their online custom menswear shop. Overnight they became the only e-commerce brand to provide real fittings with real tailors, to make all of their garments here in America, and to provide personal styling services to gentlemen from anywhere in the world. AOS now has clients as far a part as Canada, Brazil, Japan, Germany, and Dubai – the majority of whom have re-ordered and begun building long-term wardrobes. Most importantly, AOS teaches their clients to invest in quality craftsmanship, cut-down on wasteful consumption, and use the act of dressing with respect to influence the world around them.
