Football Player Assassinated After FIFA World Cup Match

The 2022 Qatar FIFA Football World Cup is here. In this video I reflect back on a tragic moment in World Cup history when Columbian player Endres Escobar was assassinated following an own goal at the 1994 FIFA Football World Cup. Columbia was eliminated from the tournament following a 1-2 loss to the USA after Andres Escobar's own goal was the difference. This is one of the most famous and tragic moments in World Cup history. In this video, I share the lessons we can learn from this tragedy.
