Desperate hunt for gunman who killed Olivia, 9, after opening fire at Liverpool home

A MANHUNT has been launched for a masked gunman who burst into a home and shot a nine-year-old girl dead at her family home.

Olivia Pratt Korbel was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after the horror unfolded in Liverpool at around 10pm.
Sadly she couldn't be saved after being blasted in the chest with the gunman still on the loose.

Her mum Cheryl was treated for a gunshot wound to the wrist while the intended target - a 35-year-old man - was treated for multiple wounds to his upper body.

Merseyside Police today said he had rushed into the house to escape the gunman, who was wearing a black padded jacket and a black balaclava.

Olivia's mum appeared to have opened the front door to see what the commotion was when he forced his way inside.
