a leisurely fishing day in Mauritius' west

I've been going to #Mauritius' west coast for more than a decade, from Rivière Noire to Le Morne, and I can't complain about the catches. There, I caught some of my record fish, including dogtooth tuna, mahimahi, and 8-pound squids, but there are also sluggish days.
I recently returned to that region, but I was only able to catch a few small peacockhind, a rockcod, and a dozen honeycombgroupers, which I only keep when I'm casting from shore.
