I wrote this poem for my Open Mic series I hold at The Wilma Theater where we create art based on our mainstage productions. This was in response to the play, "Is God Is," by Aleshea Harris. This is also in response to the #MeganTheeStallion and #ToryLanez incident, which led to me learning about the domestic violence statistics between Black men and Black women.
