United Nations Association (UNA) Harpenden invited Professor Richard Sakwa to give a talk on Ukraine and Geopolitics and take Q&A from its members and supporters.

Richard Sakwa is Professor of Politics at the University of Kent at Canterbury, a Senior Research Fellow at HSE in Moscow and an Honorary Professor in the Faculty of Political Science at Moscow State University. He has published widely on Russian and international affairs. His recent books include Frontline Ukraine: Crisis in the Borderlands (I.B. Tauris, 2016).

The talk was held in the Salvation Army Hall in Harpenden where about 40 people attended, plus 5 attended by Zoom.

UNA Harpenden holds free public meetings on a regular basis on peace and other topics supporting the UN charter.
