Often Christian men are told the lie that a happy wife equals a happy life. The reality is that montra often leads to more suffering than good. Not only does that saying imply that you must appease your wife at every turn if you are going to satisfy her, but it also implies that you are simply doing it for your own sake. That is not a motivation the Bible promotes. God commands men to be strong leaders who love their families, protect them, and pursue the best things for them.

Part of that is confronting your wife when she is not fulfilling her God given responsibilities when it comes to homemaking. If she constantly neglects her responsibilities and you never confront her about it, you are demonstrating that you are not the leader and that you do not love your wife the way you should.

Wimps refuse to lead their families and God has not called Christian men to be wimps.
