How To Teach Your Dog To Go To A Place - Life Hack

Welcome to Standing Stone Kennels! In this video, we show you how to teach your dog to go to a place with a variety of different platforms, beds, and crates. First we taught our puppy how to get on a place using a clicker and positive reinforcement. We start this behavior off by introducing a familiar place they have already learned the behavior and associate the cue, in our case we utilize the cue “kennel”. Familiarizing them with many different "kennels" is laying the foundation for a well-behaved dog who will understand the generalized behavior of "kennel" and can stay in place longer, and responds better to unfamiliar situations.
