This is a tale of Four Friends. Four friends live in a village that has been suffering from a famine. Extremely intelligent and educated, the three consider their friend Sivananda, a lazy but practical fool.
The four decide to go to a place called “Manasa,“ believed to be a heaven for scientists. On the way they have to go through the forest.
There they come across the bones of a lion. Satyanand decides to show off his knowledge by recreating the skeleton of a lion. Another friend restores the muscles and structure of the lion. Vidyananda then wants to show his superior power by giving life to a lion. Sivananda tries to stop him and warns him of the consequences of his plans. But they don't stop. Sivananda climbs a tree before Vidyanand foolishly continues his schemes.
The lion comes to life and devours the three learned fools. Sivananda's practical nature saves him.

Moral: Better to be practical than to learn.
