There has been a lot of confusion around the office of pastor in recent years. This is in large part due to the fact that many evangelical churches have been trying to find loopholes in scripture that justify having women pastors. The problem is they can't actually beheld to the same qualifications as a male pastor. This ends up causing a lot of confusion amongst lay people.

It also encourages the body of Christ to split into different demographics. It encourages a consumeristic ecclesiology that teaches individuals to think "What does this church have to offer me? Can they give me a ministry that surrounds me with others who are exactly like me?" Instead of encouraging an ecclesiology that follows a more biblical model of mixing different demographics.
