I. Purpose
This Policy Instruction establishes the policies and procedures governing the
safeguarding by Office of Intelligence and Analysis (l&A) employees of personal
information collected from signals intelligence activities as required by Presidential Policy
Directive-28, "Signals Intelligence Activities," January 17, 2014.
II. Scope
This Policy Instruction applies to all l&A employees (including individuals assigned or
detailed to, or acting for, l&A) and contractors supporting l&A.
