This year's Black Friday falls on Friday, November 25. Every year, on the day after Thanksgiving, or November 24, 2022, the day is loaded with discounts.

How long does Black Friday last?

Thanksgiving officially ends on the Friday before Black Friday, which continues throughout the following week along with other shopping celebrations like Cyber Monday.

Black Friday has started earlier and earlier during the previous ten years, with customers lined up on Thanksgiving night and online promotions running all week. However, as the pandemic caused many to choose internet shopping, shops have started closing on holidays.

In contrast, 2022 Black Friday sales prioritise early bird discounts and premium member pricing. For subscribers of Walmart+, Walmart is offering early offers for over a month. Deals are already available at Amazon, Best Buy, and Target as well.

Now, the majority of retailers are returning to their roots by opening early on Friday, with many opening at around 6 a.m.
