In This video, I take you on a journey on Recording Rap Vocals using the Neumann u87 & Neve 1073 SPX in Pro Tools. I go into detail on what I do before mixing rap vocals. When you are learning how to mix rap vocals or mixing hip hop vocals or mixing vocals, in general, using universal audio interfaces like apollo twin x and a Neumann u87 ai microphone or mic preamp the real neve preamp or uad neve 1073 you have to make sure everything sounds right. This pro tools tutorial will help you! This isn't really a Neumann u87 review or u87 ai test just a video more so on me using the Neumann u87 microphone. But so far I love the Neumann u87 ai.

Rapper/Producer 30KillaBeatz/RIch Goat was born Brandon Beasley in Detroit Michigan, 30K was raised by his hard-working mother and stepfather in multiple locations such as Virginia, Tennessee, Germany, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Hawaii because of his father's affiliation with the military. He was also known for getting in trouble in school and starting fights. After school, he would go to the Youth Center and wait till his parents picked him up after they got off work. There he saw an old piano that the other kids would play with from time to time. He was amazed and started messing with it himself. He got so good he played one of Beethoven's songs in front of the whole school. All the other parents were amazed and asked his mom if young 30K could teach their kids how to play the piano.
