Unity is strength: An old man with four sons lived in the village. The old man worried about his son's future. His sons were always at war with each other. They were always hostile to each other from their childhood. He tried many times to tell them not to fight. But his sons didn't listen. One day he called his four sons. He gave them a small bundle of sticks and asked them to break the bundle in half. The bundle consisted of four sticks. "It's child's play," said the eldest son. He took the bundle and tried to tear it open. He was surprised that the sticks in the bundle remained intact. He used more force. He tried again and again. But every time he failed to break it. As a result, the set did not break. He gave up. Then his brothers tried to break a bundle of four sticks. But they were not successful either. The father smiled and asked them to untie the bundle. He asked each brother to take a stick and try to break it. Each of the sons took a stick. In no time at all, the sticks would bend and break. “The stick is easy to break. When four sticks come together, they cannot be broken,” said the old man, looking meaningfully at his sons. The father said to his sons: “Now learn, my dear boys. Don't argue with each other. Life together. You will be happy and strong. Together we stand, but apart we fall." The four boys discovered that unity is strength. After that, the brothers stopped fighting each other. "You work as a team and master every challenge you are given." Moral: We are only as strong as we are together, as weak as we are apart. United we stand and divided we fall.
