Tuesday to become busiest travel day of the year with 48,000 flights

The Federal Aviation Administration says more than 48 thousand flights are scheduled for Tuesday, and officials say they may see up to two-and-a-half million travelers on Wednesday. If so, that will set a high not seen since the Covid-19 pandemic struck.
