Indonesia president pledges quake compensation

Survivors of the 5.6-magnitude earthquake on Monday (November 21) that killed hundreds of people in West Java said they were in need of clean water and food, as rescuers raced to reach survivors trapped under rubble amid a series of aftershocks. President Joko Widodo travelled to Cianjur on Tuesday (November 22) to encourage rescuers, and said the government would hand out compensation to the victims and their families.
