7 companies receive awards for green business practices and products

No one is spared from the impact of climate change, but local businesses can lead Singapore towards a greener future. Speaking at an award ceremony that honours companies for eco-friendly practices and products, President Halimah Yacob also encouraged them to implement more inclusive practices to make a positive impact in the community. Three SMEs received awards for eco-friendly products, including a cleaning solution made from food waste, and an energy-saving cleaning system for heaters, air ventilators and air conditioners. Four other companies were also recognised for green business practices.
