I think the name says it all? Don't have to guess what this track is about....No, this is not just because the VA is unfair to me. This is because I am sick and tired of the VA getting funded by the government yet denies 70% of all claims, at least initially. Generally a veteran has to appeal the denial to have it reviewed again and granted. When a veteran files a claim with the VA, it generally takes 12-18 months for the VA to review and either grant or deny your claim. If denied, it then generally takes an additional 12-18 months to review appeals and choose to grant some or all of the appeal. 5-7 years if you request a Veterans Law Judge at the Board of Veterans' Appeals From initial claim to final board review averages 9 years.

9 FUCKING YEARS WHILE THE VETERAN SUFFERS!

Shout out to all the men and women that have sacrificed our bodies and those that sacrificed their lives in service to our country. Shout out to the organizations that go to bat for the veterans and protect our rights. All the VSO's that work hard to get us the benefits we have earned and deserve. We have one VSO (Veteran Service Officer) here in this entire HALF of Colorado. One guy to handle thousands of veterans' cases, paperwork, claims, appeals, updates, etc. And we wonder why it takes 9 years to get something appealed.
