AARP study estimates 1,600 homeless kupuna in Hawaii

With inflation and a lack of affordable housing taking a toll, it's getting harder for Hawaii seniors on fixed-incomes to keep a roof over their heads. A new study estimates more than 1,600 kupuna are homeless in Hawaii, including 73-year-old Jean Viernes, who's been living on the streets over the past year.
