Implant One Bone Profiling Procedure

The Bone Profiling Kit is used to assist in uncovering an implant after the healing period and prior to restoration. Instructions for use:
1. Remove the cover screw or healing cap with an .050” Hex Driver
2. Install the guide pin
a. Choose the guide pin that matches the implant’s platform
b. Drive the pin into the implant with an .050” Hex Driver
3. Remove excess bone and tissue with profiler
a. Choose the diameter of the profiler based on the desired emergence profile
b.Install the chosen profiler in a handpiece and slide it over the guide pin
c. Rotate the profiler until the top of the implant is exposed. The guide pin prevents the profiler from cutting too deep.
d. Remove the guide pin with an .050” Hex Driver.
e. The implant is now ready for restoration
