President Joe Biden appears to forget name of Democrat he was rallying for

Joe Biden’s approval rate dipped to 39 per cent on Monday, adding to worries that the Democrats could face a battering in Tuesday’s midterm elections as the polls began opening today.

His popularity has fallen to almost the lowest point in his presidency to date, according to the Reuters/Ipsos poll.

Polls began opening at 6 am EST (11 am GMT) and the first results are expected at around 7 pm EST (12 am GMT).
