REAL 1st Generation Farm: 10 years Into Failing - Video 1: Fertilizer Fight and Archeology Dig!

It's been almost 10 years since we began this farm with nothing but vacant land and Erik's Grandpa's old Farmall C!

Like other first generation farms before us, it has been a STRUGGLE to keep going, and we often are left wondering "is it REALLY worth it?"

Most first generation farms (meaning, no one in the family has experience directly farming) fail within 10 years. As we hit the 10 year mark, we understand why!

This year, everything seems to come to a head with failure, and in this video the drama continues with fertilizing the fields. But it's not all negative . . . Farm Girl and son Earen set out on an archeological dig in their back woods to uncover the remains of something from LONG AGO.

Is it a cemetary? The remains of an ancient house from over 100 years ago? Or something less fun like a chicken coop? Follow along in the next few videos as we try to unravel the mystery!
