Russia denies its representative at the G20 summit was hospitalised

As the world’s leaders arrived in Bali, Russia's representative, Sergey Lavrov, was taken to hospital.

The 72-year-old foreign minister who is representing Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 summit reportedly suffered a heart complication.

However, Russia has denied the report, citing “fake news” on behalf of Western media.

The Indonesian government has confirmed Mr Lavrov was treated in a hospital on the island.
