Haunted by BAD RECORD AT SILVERSTONE!! MARQUEZ COMMENTS NEW ASPHALT CIRCUIT AND WEATHER

The Silverstone circuit has so far not been very profitable for Marc Marquez. Honda's mainstay racer admitted that his luck was not good enough there.

for Marquez, this circuit is one that is difficult to beat.
The baby allien has only won one victory since moving up in the MotoGP class. In 2014, he beat Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi to climb to the top of the podium.

Bad luck always haunts Marquez here. In 2013, he fell and dislocated his shoulder in warm-up, although he managed to finish second in the race.
He then failed to finish in 2015 after crashing in a wet race. Meanwhile in 2017, engine failure prevented him from completing the race.
A year later in 2018, Marquez fell during a practice session, while the race was eventually canceled due to bad weather and track conditions. This weekend, he hopes to enjoy a smooth and exciting race.

The Silverstone circuit itself has now been re-paved, which is expected not to cause many incidents. But the weather is another factor that still needs to be monitored.

"Hopefully we can enjoy a good race at Silverstone. We've had bad luck before but this year we showed we are much stronger at circuits where we weren't as strong before so I'm feeling good going into the weekend." Marquez said.

"We'll see what the new asphalt is like because before, Silverstone was quite bumpy and of course we'll see how the weather conditions are," he said as reported by Crash.
