As a challenging winter approaches, these are the three major problems Ukraine is facing

Attacks on Ukraine's electricity infrastructure could worsen the winter in Kyiv despite the country's gains in the Russian-occupied east. Conflict over grain exports, the amount of aid provided, and the need for new power grid components might all affect how Ukraine does during the winter. And while the crisis continues, Europe's energy situation is moving away from a dependence on Russia. According to Matthew Kroenig, acting director of the Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security, "we're seeing this is becoming a serious security issue with the Russians using food as a weapon of war turning off and on grain shipments as a strategy to attempt to compel and control the West." Additionally, most nations in Europe are preparing for a long-term shift in energy policy.
