Police in Leawood responded to a call around 2pm on Monday about an unidentified woman, 51, being trapped when her car set on fire
The vehicle ignited after the driver failed to stop at the Tomahawk Creek Parkway intersection and she hit another car and then hit a tree
Bodycam footage showed the dark vehicle flipped on its passenger's side as bright orange flames blazed and her legs peeking out from under the vehicle
Officers managed to lift the car off of her enough that she could be pulled out
The woman was rushed to the hospital and she is expected to survive. The extent of her injuries are unknown
