Wilberforce Project Comment On Abortion | Friday, November 18, 2022 | Micah Quinn | Bridge City News

One of Alberta’s leading Pro-life groups held a fundraising event on Thursday evening in Lethbridge County. The Wilberforce Project was created in 1986 and was formerly known as Alberta Pro-Life. According to staff the group’s mandate is to protect human life through political advocacy. Abortion has been legal in Canada since 1988, but Cameron Wilson, the director of political action with the group says the organization will continue to fight in support of their ideology.

Bridge City News reached out to the Pro-choice Society of Lethbridge and Southern Alberta for comment on the story but we have yet to hear back.
