A warning to new and potential wealthsimple.com users

I am Michael, and I am Canadian.

I gave wealthsimple financial services (at wealthsimple.com) a shot because they charge no fees for fund transfers between them and your bank and no fees for canadian stock trading.

I deposited a total of $260, and lost nearly $200.

I tested their features in the past and had no issue except that I was continuously losing money in the stock market in general.

Their 15-minute delayed charts along with my multi-hundred share purchases in stocks priced at $0.01 and the recession may have contributed to my loss.

So today, I decided its time for me to cut my losses and run. As I was selling my remaining stocks, the main balance dropped from $78 to $60.98 in a matter of seconds. Then what I didn't expect was the INABILITY TO WITHDRAW anything from my available funds!

I attempted to reach a person a couple of times by phone but to no success. What's worse, they close their office in the 5:00 hour when their site indicates they are open until 8pm. And yes I am in the same timezone as they are.

I will continue to contact them and expose this video to more places to ensure people don't make the wrong choices with investment platforms.
