'North Korean missile' lands in Japan's economic zone

As Japan said a North Korean intercontinental ballistic missile came down in the sea off Hokkaido, the country’s defense ministry released video taken from an F-15 that it said was related to the launch.

Prime Minister Fumio Kishida told press in Bangkok that the ICBM was believed to have landed west of Hokkaido, Japan’s northernmost island, within Japan’s exclusive economic zone.

“North Korea has repeated provocative actions with unprecedented frequency. I would like to reiterate strongly that we cannot accept this,” Kishida said, according to a machine translation. There were no reports of damage.
