PSALM 103

This psalm is a song of praise to the Lord. The song gives thanks with all its might for the immense benefits given to man (the psalmist) and to all men.
This psalm invites us to contemplate the greatness of the Creator and to bless him for his love, understanding, justice, works and all the good things he gives us every day.

For at every moment, in every situation, favorable or adverse, God loves us with an immense and wonderful love. "Bless my soul, Lord,
and all my being in your Holy Name.

Bless my soul, Lord, and do not forget its benefits. He forgives your faults and heals all your diseases; He rescues your life from the grave and fills you with grace and tenderness; He satisfies his existence with goods and renews his youth like an eagle. The Lord executes justice and defends all the oppressed; He revealed his ways to Moses and his wonders to the children of Israel. The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to anger and rich in mercy; he is not always accusing nor does he hold perpetual grudges; He does not treat us as our sins deserve or pay us according to our faults.

As the sky rises above the earth,
his goodness towers over his faithful ones;
As the east is far from sunset,
our crimes are far from us. As a father feels tenderness for his children, so the Lord feels tenderness for his faithful ones; Because He knows what we are made of, He remembers that we are clay. and his sovereignty rules the universe. Bless the Lord, all his Angels, mighty heroes, executors of his orders, ready at the voice of his Word.
