Along with over 1700 other dragons, this Komodo dragon resides on Indonesia's Komodo Island. The biggest lizards in the planet, they are fierce hunters. They are the top predators in their territory and are capable of taking down large prey. They have the ability to dislocate their jaws and devour whole creatures.

It is well known that komodo dragons have extremely toxic saliva. Their saliva, which is laced with venom and bacteria, can render their prey unconscious. Even if an animal survives the initial attack, internal bleeding and infection will cause them to die in a day or two.

Additionally, these dragons are opportunistic feeders and will consume recently dead creatures. They can locate dying animals thanks to their strong sense of smell.
