Real Live Leather Face Ed Gein: A Notorious Criminal of History

Hello Everyone! In today’s video of Keto and Krime, I will talk about the real-time Monster in America known as Edward Gein. He was one of the criminals that were infamous for skinning humans. Born to a crippled alcoholic father and religious mother in 1906, Ed Gein was inspired by this savage idea of peeling humans from the testaments of the Holy Bible. Ed Gein had committed many crimes with young women around his hometown of Plainfield, Wisconsin. His one mysterious case was the killing of his brother Henry Gein. Ed Gein attracted the courtesy of the police in 1957 when a hardware store owner named Bernice Worden went missing. Gein had been seen with her before her fading.

In an investigation, law enforcement officers found the body on his farm. She had been fatally shot and executed. Authority officers investigated his home and found that he had systematically robbed graves and collected human body parts in strange ways. He used them to make household items, clothing, and masks. Ed Gein admitted to killing the two women—both of whom allegedly resembled his mother—but pled not guilty because of recklessness. In late 1957 he was considered unfit for trial and was afterward imprisoned in various psychiatric institutions. However, Gein was again put on trial in 1968 and was found guilty of slaying Worden—reportedly due to financial reasons. He returned to a mental hospital, where he remained until he died in 1984.
