Sea turtle (scientific name: Chelonia spp.) is a general term for marine turtles of the family Turtleidae and Leatherback. In order to adapt to aquatic life, the body is relatively flat, the limbs are turned into fins, and the long forelimbs are like paddles, which are very suitable for swimming freely in the water. It is covered with a hard shell except for the head, limbs and tail. [6] Sea turtles are mainly distributed in the Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean and Indian Ocean. [18] Most sea turtles live in relatively shallow coastal waters, bays, corals, and estuaries that flow into the sea. [7] Sea turtles generally rarely come ashore except to lay eggs and bask in the sun. The vast majority of turtles are mild-tempered, and when encountering an enemy, they will only retract their heads and not attack the enemy.
