EXTREMELY EASY green pesto penne pasta recipe. It will be ready in no time for your family dinner, lunch, tea, whatever that might be. You can of course increase the quantity of pasta in the recipe and accordingly increase the ingredients as well.

GREEN PESTO PENNE PASTA RECIPE:

INGREDIENTS:

150g penne pasta
190g green pesto
100g cheddar cheese
Pinch of salt
Splash of Oil

DIRECTIONS:

In a deep pan add hot water, a pinch of salt, the pasta and a splash of oil. The oil will prevent the pasta from sticking to each other whilst boiling. Make sure the pasta is covered with water and add to boil for around 10 minutes or until the pasta is cooked, or according to package instructions. Drain the pasta and add in another deep pan, on medium heat.
Add the pesto jar on the pasta and mix on low heat, making sure the pasta is covered in the pesto paste evenly. Taste if it needs any seasoning and if it doesn't, the pasta is ready.
If you are using cheese block, grate the cheese and sprinkle over the pasta when it's served.

TIP: Add half the amount of the hot pasta on a serving platter, sprinkle cheese over it, then add the remaining pasta on top of the cheese to ensure the cheese melts from the heat and then sprinkle more cheese over the top.
