Amazon just wrapped up the first of 5 seasons of the Rings of Power. Loosely adapted from Tolkien's appendices about he second age of Middle Earth. Rings of Power plays fast and hard with the lore and compresses thousands of years of happenings into one time period. Follow Warrior Galadriel, as she tears her way through middle earth on the hunt for Sauron. Meanwhile the elves desperately need what the dwarves are shoveling. And lastly the battle for the southlands is on as we see the origins of mount doom, Mordor, and the elvish rings of power. Is it really as bad as everyone is saying? A Lord of the Ring's Normie weighs in.
