Being "Friends" with Narcissists

Befriending narcissists is not a productive task, and now that I'm treated for ADHD, I have the mental fortitude to learn how to say no to them. Probably best to not engage with them at all, but it's very difficult to avoid when you are in a creative field.
Being in one sided, transactional relationships with narcissists because you aren't capable of being friends with normal people is not a fun way to go through life.
