Drew Michael, Marc Maron, Jealousy

Marc Maron has done his best to improve as a human being, I believe, since he started doing his podcast back in 2009. I was convinced that he had made some great progress in this. But it only took one episode featuring Drew Michael for it to unravel. I haven't been listening to Marc's podcast since around 2015, which is probably true for most of his original fans. I outgrew him.

But this very special episode with Drew Michael hit close to home for me. Not because I'm anywhere near the same level of talent as Drew Michael, but because I've been following his career since he was only a few years in. It's crazy to find out that even if you have two HBO specials under your belt, you're still subject to people slightly higher up in the business trying to belittle every single one of your achievements.
