The Jan. 6 Committee voted Thursday to subpoena former President Donald Trump to provide documents and testimony in connection to the attack on the U.S. Capitol. “We are obligated to seek answers directly from the man who set this all in motion, and every American is entitled to those answers so we can act now to protect our republic,” said Committee Vice Chair Rep. Liz Cheney, who introduced the resolution. The resolution passed unanimously at the end of Thursday's hearing.
