After preventing NYC from getting firebombed in Prototype it's time for the Sequel. We step into the boots of Army veteran James Heller who after losing his family in the outbreak is on a vendetta against Alex Mercer. After catching up with him in the red zone of the city and try to avenge his family Alex sees potential and turns him into a prototype. Now having the powers of Mercer he's ready to wage a all out war on Gentek & Blackwatch.
