Should re-testing for a driver's liscence be mandatory in Canada after We reach a certain age ?

After many close calls over the years, I personally think that once drivers reach a certain age they should be retested to ensure they are still capable of operating a motor vehicle on Our highways and roads safely.
This video shows how I dealt with the last episode of "almost having an accident with an elderly driver" I was actually on my way to Our local Town with My mother as a passenger. We were going by the local Freemason church where the speed is 50 klm . There was an older couple in a Dodge SUV ,they waited for the car ahead of Us to go by and then without even looking..hauled out right in front of us doing 50.. What in the flying f##k was this guy thinking? or wait...he wasn't 🙁
So after getting the blue rig to stop on the other side of a dime I chose to follow them until they stopped to politely make the driver aware of the accident he had almost caused.
He was polite but my oh my ..I think he should be retested to prove he is still fit for operating motor vehicles on Our roads.
