Clock in the Amsterdam Airport This artist spends 12 hours in a giant clock to paint every minute

At Amsterdam airport, an artist has just performed a crazy performance in which he paints the minutes one after the other on the dial of a huge clock.

Can't do the same task for more than an hour? The performance of this artist will horrify you! In collaboration with the airportAmsterdam Schipholthe Dutch designer Maarten Baas had the idea of slipping into a huge clock… which doesn't have a hand. An idea that he had already had in 2009 by creating the first house clocks powered by a human.

His idea ? Equipped with a pot and a brush, he draws the advance of the needles of the hours and minutes… during 12 hours ! Through this performance, he wanted to offer a hyper-realistic view of time. In short, creativity level we are at the top and even if it seems perfectly useless… we had to think about it!

And if you like this idea, you will love it his other concept (always based on time)in which he has fun sweep up rubbish with a friend. Good film !
