The living wage here in our province have now been updated for our bigger cities. The Alberta Living Wage Network has released updated numbers for 2022 confirming that the living wage in Lethbridge has moved from $19 to $20.30. Jaci Zalesak, the executive director of the United Way of Lethbridge and SW Alberta says she is not surprised that the living wage in our city has shot up.

Medicine Hat, Edmonton and Calgary rounded out the list of Alberta cities with living wages ranging from $17.50 to $22.40.
