Killiechonate Woodlands 8 mile hike Scotland

This is a picture slide show of when I went on the Killiechonate woodlands hike starting from Corriechoille cabins.
Its a beautiful walk through deciduous and plantation woodland with Aonach Mor and the Grey Corries in the background

The walk heads through sections of mixed deciduous woodland, composed of birch, willow, rowan, ancient oak woodland.
The woodland ground flora includes wood sorrel, bilberry, violets, great woodrush, fern, bracken .
Most of the walk is through plantation forest composed of larch, pine and spruce with an understorey of purple moor grass and scattered ferns.
There are also some sections of moorland/bog on the route but currently there is no bog you have to walk through on this route.
On these bogs there is bog myrtle, heather, rushes and an abundance of mosses.
