Russian assets abroad could and should be used to repair the damage, caused by the Russian invasion

The UN General Assembly will consider Ukraine's application to force Russia to pay reparations for the war. The meeting will take place on November 14th. According to the document, the basis for the creation of an international mechanism will be the arrested Russian assets in the amount of USD 300 billion. In case of a positive decision, the money will be spent on the restoration of civilian and critical infrastructure destroyed by the Russian army, restoration of the environment, and more.
