Fox takes down a nutria on a frozen pond

The nutria (coypu, myocastor coypus) is a large herbivorous semi-aquatic rodent.
They live in burrows alongside stretches of water, and are most commonly found in freshwater marshes.

Originally native to South America, they have since been introduced to North America, Eurpoe, Asia and Africa - they are considered an invasive species.

The fox doesn't care about any of that, she has pups to feed.
